our own wildlife sanctuary…
Since 2021, owners Fi and Matt have sought to revert the heavily grazed 3.5 acres at Browpath Farm to something like its natural state. Largely through simply fencing out livestock and letting nature take its course, but also by planting 350 trees,
planting native hedgerows and re-establishing two ponds. The increase in wildlife has been dramatic, in just the first couple of years the site had become a sanctuary for a huge variety of species, and the numbers are only going up.
