A wildlife sanctuary…
Since 2021, owners Fi and Matt have sought to revert the heavily grazed 3.5 acres at Browpath Farm to something like it’s natural state. Largely through simply fencing out livestock and letting nature take its course, but given a little nudge by planting 350 trees, re-establishing native hedgerows and 2 large ponds. The increase in wildlife has been dramatic, in just the first couple of years the site had become a sanctuary for a huge variety of species, and the numbers are only going up.
Far more than glamping…
No compost loos or cold showers will be found in our cosy, boutique cabins. Each cabin has its own ensuite bathroom, a sitting room with wood burning stove and separate bedroom with king size beds and snuggly, recycled cotton sheets. They each have kettles and a range of teas and coffee, and decks with outdoor seating to enjoy the morning sunshine and watch the Kingfisher or the Heron fishing in the pond.

With Exmoor national park and the Quantock hills on our doorstep, we are perfectly placed for those seeking fun on the trails, whether on foot, bike or horseback. And for those rainy days our home gym is stocked with a range of free weight and mat exercise equipment and the indoor bouldering wall is fun for all the family. For those seeking stillness and calm, we have a library of books and a great selection of boardgames , perfect for curling up by the fire.
Solar powered life…
Carefully designed to maximise natural resources and modern technology, this is off-grid living as you’ve never seen before. We gather power from the sun, water from a ‘bore hole’ 60m deep and we treat our sewage onsite with a septic tank and soakaway system. Our 15kw battery stores up power during the day, so you can use power pretty much as normal. It’s easy to forget that we’re totally off-grid!
